Background Check Fees

Background check fees are paid separately and the cost is based on the number of family members, ages, number of countries they have resided in, and in which the main applicant has or had business operations. Note that CI obtains a formal quote for the client from the Government assigned independent due diligence agency before submitting the application.

Interview Costs

As part of the application process an interview is required. The applicant can travel to Dominica for the interview, otherwise government officials travel periodically to carry out interviews in various countries and CI can organise for the applicant to be interviewed abroad. For the later, please consult a CI advisor.

Please note that this is a guideline as processing times may vary depending on each individual case and the Government policy. This will be not the legal responsibility of CI.

The grant of citizenship is at the sole discretion of the Government of Dominica but, generally, the application is only denied if the due diligence reveals that the applicant has made false statements in the application forms or other submitted documents; has engaged in criminal activities or is under investigation in relation to criminal activities; or has (or is alleged to have been) engaged in or associated with any activity that would bring disrepute to Dominica.
