INVESTMENT TYPE AND COST

Applicants have two options to acquire Dominica's Passport through the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program.

OPTION 1

DONATION - ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION FUND (EDF)

Obtain Dominica citizenship through a non-refundable contribution to a fund, the cost of which is by the number and age of applicants. Spouses, children under the age of 30, and parents/grandparents over the age of 65 are all eligible family dependents.

  • Single Application 100,000 USD
  • Main Applicant plus spouse 150,000 USD
  • Main Applicant plus three (3) dependents 175,000 USD
  • Any Additional dependent aged 18 years or older 50,000 USD
  • Any Additional dependents below the age of 18 years 25,000 USD

OPTION 2

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT

Obtain Dominica citizenship by investing in government-approved real estate projects such as freehold property, hotel shares, fractional ownership, or land. Only pay the investment and government fees once your Dominica citizenship is approved.

  • Minimum Investment (Must hold for 7 years) 200,000 USD
GOVERNMENT FEES

In addition to the purchase of real estate, there are Government fees to be paid.

  • Main Applicant 25,000 USD
  • Main Applicant and up to three (3) Dependents 35,000 USD

DUE DILIGENCE & BACKGROUND CHECKS

The Dominica Citizenship by Investment Unit (CBIU) conducts a thorough due diligence procedure on all applicants to ensure that only reputable individuals and families obtain citizenship. The government appoints a preferred due diligence agency to conduct international and local background checks using sources like Interpol, World-Check, and other government agencies.

  • Affidavit of support for each dependent aged 18 or over
  • Original HIV test results (for all applicants aged 12 or above)
  • Detailed business background reports/resume/CV.

  • Sales and Purchase Agreement – (real estate option only).
  • D4 – Investment Agreement (EDF option only).

Financial documentation:

  • Confirmed bank statements for the previous 12 months.
