UNITED KINGDOM (On Hold)IMMIGRANT INVESTOR PROGRAM

Overview

The United Kingdom introduced a program called ‘the Immigrant Investor program’, UK Investment Visa, in October 1994, which provided granting of a residence visa to non-EEA (European Economic Area and non-Swiss) nationals who invested in its territory. In February 2008 a Points Based System (PBS) for managed migration from outside the EEA was introduced, replacing the old work permit system and it is the most efficient route to obtain the UK citizenship - a permanent and transferable asset, a true investment for generations to come.
